Ask Claude about your Roots (Roots+)

Connect your account to Claude and ask it to catch you up on your Rooms, draft a reply, or check how your Page is doing — all scoped to exactly what you could already see, nothing more. You're always the one who approves what it can do, and you can disconnect any time.

What it can do

  • Read and summarise your Timeline, your Rooms and your message threads
  • Search everything you already have access to, in any language
  • Draft replies and posts for you to review before anything is sent
  • Send a message or publish a post — only when you switch that permission on
  • Report on your Page: followers, reach and recent activity

What it never does

  • See anything you couldn’t already see yourself
  • Receive your photos or videos — only text is shared with Claude; it just sees that a post has an image
  • Read private Rooms, Pages or DMs that aren’t yours
  • Send or post without the permission you explicitly granted
  • Act on instructions hidden inside someone else’s message
  • Train anyone’s model on your Roots data

Drafting a post, without publishing it

Ask Claude to write a post and nothing goes live. It lands in your Scheduled list inside Roots, where you read it, edit it, and publish it yourself.

  1. 1Claude shows you a preview first — nothing is created yet.
  2. 2You confirm, and Roots saves it as a draft in your Scheduled list.
  3. 3It only appears to anyone once you release it from the app.

How it works

  1. 1Open Settings and connect your assistant. You choose the permissions on a consent screen — reading, drafting and sending are separate.
  2. 2Ask Claude anything about your Roots. It queries live, scoped to your own account.
  3. 3Anything that leaves your account waits for you. You get a notification with a short window to cancel before it goes out.

Safety, by default

  • Read-only unless you say otherwise
  • A hold window on every message and post, with one-tap cancel
  • Prompt-injection defences: instructions inside content are treated as text, never as commands
  • Disconnect instantly from Settings — access is revoked in one step
